James G. Ravin, M.D. – Ophthalmologist

James G. Ravin, M.D., M.S., is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with more than 30 years of experience. Dr. Ravin chose this profession because he appreciates the blend of medicine and surgery.

Dr. Ravin conducted a number of research studies in the field of ophthalmology. His significant research contributions include over 115 journal reviews in the field of ophthalmology. He has served on the editorial board of the Archives of Ophthalmology. Dr. Ravin is a contributor to the textbook titled Doctors of Another Calling.

He is also a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Toledo College of Medicine. Dr. Ravin served his country as a Captain, Flight Surgeon in the U.S. Air Force.
