Dr. Person is a board-certified comprehensive Ophthalmologist who has been in practice for over fifteen years. She specializes in LASIK eye surgery and refractive cataract treatments and performs over 2,000 procedures per year. She began her career teaching Residents the art and science of cataract surgery and has continued to be involved in academic pursuits throughout her career. Using lasers and advanced technology lenses for cataract patients has revolutionized cataract surgery, giving patients more options for freedom from glasses after surgery. Our team of ophthalmologists are on the forefront for offering these remarkable technologies with a LASIK laser to back up the results. Erica Person, M.D. frequently sees patients from other practices as a second opinion or to fix a refractive outcome, especially with multifocal lenses.

While Dr. Person specializes in cataract surgery, she sees a wide variety of patients and treats various eye diseases from glaucoma to dry eyes. She has a personal approach to the way she interacts with her patients and emphasizes good communication. “I develop a partnership with each patient and tailor treatments that work best with each individual’s lifestyle. Dr. Person is an active volunteer in her community, working with girl and boy Scouts of all ages. She enjoys golfing, painting, and hiking with her covid puppy.
